Vibe Check - AI Relationship Message Analyzer
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your Vibe Check account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your user profile and Firebase Authentication data
- Analysis history (all past vibe checks) from Firestore
- Gem balance and transaction history
- Streak data, shields, and achievements
- Daily challenge progress and Vibe Score
- Referral codes and referral history
- Notification preferences and FCM token
- All Firestore documents associated with your account
This action cannot be undone.
Option 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account:

Open Vibe Check and tap the Settings icon (gear icon)

Scroll down to the Account section

Confirm the deletion in the dialog
Your data will be deleted immediately from our servers.
Option 2: Request Deletion via Email
If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

Please include the email address associated with your Google Sign-In. We will process your request within 72 hours and confirm deletion via email.
Data Retention After Deletion
After account deletion:
- Immediately deleted: All personal data from Firebase Authentication and Firestore (profile, gems, streaks, achievements, referrals, rate limits)
- Cleared on device: Local app data (SharedPreferences, Room database) is cleared when the app detects the account is gone
- Not stored: Messages submitted for AI analysis are never stored on our servers -- they are processed in real-time and discarded
- Retained (anonymized): Aggregate anonymous analytics data (e.g., total app usage counts) may be retained for up to 14 months, but contains no personally identifiable information
- Retained (90 days): Anonymized crash logs for stability monitoring
Third-Party Data
Your data may also exist with the following third-party services. Account deletion removes data from our systems, but you may need to contact these services directly for their retained data:
- OpenAI: Messages are processed via their API in real-time and are not stored by OpenAI per their API data usage policy
- Google ML Kit: Screenshot OCR is processed entirely on your device -- no data is sent to Google
- Firebase (Google): Account data is deleted when we process your deletion request. Anonymous analytics may persist per Google's retention policies
- Google AdMob: Ad interaction data is managed by Google per their privacy policy. You can manage ad personalization in your Google account settings
